Any tips on dealing with Artblock and Burnout?

I have no idea how to bounce back from it, because I'm currently burnt out. The above is the best I can do at the moment because I have absolutely no energy for art at the moment

take a break from art for a bit, it might help from being burnt out. you don't gotta force it.

if you don't want to stop though, i'd recommend just seeing/watching your favorite artists. and to add on to that, just consuming media, from books to music to shows, should help you out from artblock

and lastly, maybe try out some new stuff. these can not only be applied to art stuff, but also to the media you'd consume!

hope these help! and i hope you get over 'em! <33

I'll give these a shot, thank you very much!

Besides taking a break I normally doodle whatever I first think of in a sketchbook

That helps

Worth a shot, thank you

if you have no energy due to working on other things you can take a break. But if you're not physically or mentally tired and feel it's laziness of yours then try to make art a routine like work, you can't just "i'm not feeling like working today i won't" you gotta go regardless. For me drawing and working on animations is like work, i do it regardless of feeling motivated or not

I see, that would make sense to treat it like work. Thanks!
